If you see a real zombie, run away. There are probably more not far behind. Your main assets are speed, intelligence and ammunition. Use them wisely. Stock up on food and barricades. Secure a source of clean water. Maintain a working arsenal of ranged weaponry. Keep warm. Construct a smoke signal. Wear a silly hat so other survivors will know on sight that you aren't a target. Protect your base and keep a vehicle prepped for escape.
