composing songs?
Does anyone use a Software to compose music?
I have looked at acid, cubase not much help.

I am using this software called Sibelius to write music notes. But it uses midi. :(

I also got reason but dont know how to use it. :(
I am thinking maybe garage band?

I have logic audio, it's cool, but it's mac only and fairly expensive.

I compose, but the way I do it is so obscure and unique that you probably wouldn't want to copy me.



Why don't you like midi? Midi rules.

ya i got a PC.



I want to make a demo and publish a song. When you play on midi for too long, you can't tell the difference. but my friends always ask why the sound is not good. so they find out its midi.

I use garageband... but I actually plug my guitar into my computer.

I got a little piano, should work the same.

so with the garageband, how do you compose the drum beats?

All about me

I just finished my BSc in Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University (surrey).
And so I am entering a new phase of life: on one side running after my dreams, on the other side the pressure of making a living.

For this next year I want to explore my creativity in any possible design field and just look for opportunities. Oh and I am also “planning” to put together a design group in the near future. How near that future is? God knows.
