Would any ladies with big boobs care to confirm whether Threadless shirts fit them? I promise to keep this professional!

My ex was a 36D, size 14, and fit into an L size perfectly.

However, my current partner is a size 14, but has humongous 36FF boobs. I'm wondering if XL would fit. I fear it would look ridiculously large on her and I don't want to insult her by buying her a huge shirt as a present!

I've looked at the sizing charts and I assume the smaller sizes might stretch to fit around the... ahem.... larger parts! So I'm already planning on testing the water with a design that will "stretch well"!

Help would be appreciated!! :-)

I think you should change the title to something like "Sizing question" or "women's shirt size query"

i have a best friend that i buy shirts for a lot and she is a 36DD and wears an 2XL, she only a little bit on the bigger side.

although if you fear it would be too big you can always shrink it through the wash.

i think she'd definitely need 2xl, the shirts run small.
