If you've seen the Irish indie film Once, than you know who Glen and Marketa are. Not only are they the main characters in the film, but they also make up the small duo called the Swell Season. Most of the songs from the movie were ones that they already wrote before the film, and only a few were actually written for the movie. Anyways, they make amazing music together and I was lucky enough to catch one of their small shows last Saturday in San Francisco.

They played at a small church in San Francisco for maybe about a crowd of 100 people or less. I was lucky enough to be in the front row to enjoy the whole show and snap a ton of awesome pictures.







I was also lucky enough to meet them after the show and get a picture with them. They are both really nice people as well as awesome musicians. A win-win situation!



I know they are going to be doing another tour very soon too. I think after Glen is finished touring with the Frames that him and Marketa are going to do a larger U.S. tour in September or November. Check them out if you get the chance to!
