Just added a favorite of mine.

Etsy is a site where you can create your own shop and sell handmade items. It can be art, clothing, jewelry, ect. Its really cool and the community is great.

i've got an etsy account... but i don't sell anything... i just buy

buhhtages, etsy is basically ebay (but SO much better) except no auctions. there is a set price for everything.

go to www.etsy.com. you won't be dissappointed.

nah not yet but i gotta branch out and get more items to sell i think that is how you make etsy work you have to have a variety of stuff....nice job on this blog can't believe none of us etsy people thought this

Thanks. I haven't had any luck either. I just added some photo prints, and I want to do a few more paintings and add some prints soon as well.

You are right about branching out too. I've been thinking about trying to do some magnets or something along those lines. Just smaller items that you can sell for cheap to build up your shops reputation. Then maybe the larger items will sell.

btw: the ones photo'd in my blog are not the ones I'm selling. I'm making new ones. The ones in the pictures I've already given away to people with the exception of the with the pale koi fish which I love and will never part with hehe.

I have sold one item so far. I haven't added anything new in awhile. I have some ideas for some new things so hopefully I can start them soon. Thanks for asking kirsten!

Oh I just looked at the kitty cat shop! I have to get one of those "love socks" for my cat... hehe he's not a big kitty but he just eats those little furry store bought mice in less than a 1/2 hr.

hi, i was just checking this out and stupid me, i started the signing up for my shop..and now i am a mess re-reading about the fees because i signed in my moms card and other transactions take place in there..(lol like its a place or something) anyways..i dont have a credit card, am i screwed? and i was getting all excited for selling stuff :(

it is only like 20 cents per item you list you mom won't even notice the charge

yea but does it take the percentage only by item..or does it do a monthly add up and then take the percentage? because if it does than it might get very messy..my mom wouldnt mind the traffic if it doesnt affect too much if its only by item..
