Hey everyone, back again. I'm heading up to Chicago so I thought I'd check out Urban Outfitters(never been) while I'm there. Anything special I should know about/do/see while I'm there? Do they have any great deals I should be on the lookout for?

Also, I have 1 extra ticket so see Straylight Run/Matt Pond, PA/Street to Nowhere/Kevin Devine at the Beat Kitchen this evening. Its sold out, so if you want the ticket, I'll give it up for $20. I'll post my email if there are any takers.

Hmm any place in Chicago you'd recommend? The only place for halfway decent clothes here is rediculously over priced. Looking for something up on state street ish.

I also heard that their bargain racks are really good if you can find stuff in your size... any truth to this? I have to walk like 2 miles to go because of parking, so I don't want to waste my time

Heh, I can't just walk in there can I? Sadly, until they moved they were like 2 blocks from where the concert I'm going to is.

i can't remember the street names exactly... perhaps it's clark and belmont, but there are a ton of good stores along the way there, like hollywood mirror, chicago comics, and uncle fun's... i don't think i need to explain them. they just have cool stuff!!

urban outfitters is overrated (we have one in madison too), but it's still a way to kill time, regardless.

Wow... didn't realize they moved on the same street too. I might just have to drop by.

Go south down Clark Street. Start around wriglyville. There's Strange Cargo, which is pretty chill. Keep going. Clark and Belmont- kindof grungy gothy stuff. Continue down Clark going south and eventually you'll hit Halsted/Clark, where there are more clothing stores. A bit pricy, but some resale stores around there too. AND eventually, once you get to Fullerton, you will find Urban. It's a bit of a walk all the way down, but worth it if you really wanna shop.
