I'm so excited this got printed! It's great timing - I just joined a roller derby league!!! (The Broward County Derby Grrls, if you're interested.)

:D

I'm off on a 3-day road trip (with my mom - pray for me) in the morning. The dilemma is this:

Do I wear my threadless shirts in the hopes of finding awesome gallery pic locales while traveling? Or do I not wear my threadless shirts because the seat belt will wrinkle and chafe the nice screen printing for 10-12 hours while I am sitting in the car?

Decisions, decisions...

...but after they knew they'd run out, couldn't they have stopped putting #THFREE - Free - Drink Cozy on the invoices?

I don't mind not getting a drink cozy, but I kind of mind being told I'll get one, and then not getting one. That's all.

If I gave someone STP's with an order, but then had to cancel that order, did those STP's get cancelled, too?

I'd be sad if that were the case.

about Motovino
...Threadless started this Valentine's Day buy-2-of-the-same-shirt, get-$10-off sale thing right after Handler-san posted this gallery photo of us in our Motovino shirts.

It'd be even cuter if we were dating or anything.

Wow! I just woke up to the story about Threadless on Morning Edition. Pretty cool! I wonder how big a bump in members the site will see from it.

I think I'm gonna order some of the stuff in my cart right now, just in case... (me = paranoid)

Envy of the Handsome Man - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

I cannot explain why, but I love this design so much. I'll be really sad if it doesn't get printed.

And I did make my Chinese-literate friend check the phrase for accuracy... here is what she told me over IM:

me: I was just curious about that shirt.
me: so it does say that?
me: ok.
her: something along those lines
me: close enough?
her: last two characters do indeed mean a handsome man
her: a hottie if you will
me: heh
her: a guy who's attractive looking
her: and first character means envy or admiration
her: so
her: yes yes

So there you have it. Envy of the Handsome Man.

I just love the way that cupcake looks. I can't for the life of me figure out why it appeals to me so much, but it really does. (Maybe I'm just hungry, who knows?)

I was going to send my defective copy of this shirt in for an exchange today, but then this damn $10 sale happened. Now, of course, I am just going to have to keep the shirt I've got.

Good thing I am handy with a needle and thread.

:(

I ordered this shirt, and it arrived today... but there's a hole in the collar. Dangit. I'm gonna have to exchange it, if I can.

It's an awesome shirt, tho' - I was trying it on in the bathroom (which is when I noticed the hole), and when I turned off the lights, I was like, "Oooooooh, glow in the dark...... hee."

I am such a sucker for stuff that glows in the dark.

I found my frat boy on this site tonight! (You know, the frat boy I had a crush on last semester, who was in my Japanese class and who introduced me to this site.)

I looked a while back, and I couldn't find any gallery photos for him. Tonight, I was just browsing the gallery, and just like magic... voila! There he was, 7 pictures of him.

Such a cutie, he is.

I am a total loser, though, because I haven't talked to him once yet this semester, even though I see him every week at anime club. Seriously though - I am in kind of an awkward position, here, being married and like, 7 years older than him and all. It seriously is just a platonic crush - I just want to be his friend, absolutely nothing more. But even just liking someone that much, when you have no idea if they like you back in the same way, is really embarrassing.

I swear. I am 28 already. You'd think I'd be too old for this shit by now. Apparently, you never outgrow being a social retard.

All about me
My friend Handler-san suckered me into introduced me to this site in the spring semester of 2006, and here I am. Spending way too much of my money buying way too many t-shirts.

A few random facts about me
Likes:
guys with snazzy footwear; watching snow fall; good Mexican food; giving STPs to people I don't know and not telling them.

Dislikes:
poorly lit bathrooms, stepping on earthworms when they're all over the sidewalk after it rains; when my eyelashes fall out and get stuck in my eyes and stab my eyeballs; the fact that it's pronounced am-EE-cus brief instead of AM-i-cus brief.

I carry a huge keychain.
I never seem to be able to finish a cup of coffee.
I collect a lot of odd things.
I just joined a roller derby league, and I'm pretty excited about that.

STP my friends:

Jilly Bean
