Freedrawing 365 Project

Hi all,

when I was visiting Chicago I decided to start a 365 days project with illustrations. All the drawing there got me spooked a bit. It will be quite a challenge to keep this up I think, but I do want to give it a go. I'm doing this mainly to try and move forward with my style, experiment around, evolve and also to document my stuff for a year.

I'm also hoping to get some feedback through the flickr site, so feel free to add me up there. I'd be honoured to receive comments from any of you. The more upfront and frank you are with your comments, the better it is.

Yup! I got home last friday - my trip back was horribly long, over 24 hours. But i made it!

I've just started a 365 photo thing, which everyone is doing it seems and it's not as involved, but I hope it'll get my photography somewhat back in shape again... plus, my rules are that the photos need to be taken outdoors, and something living must be visible. So it should help me get out and enjoy nature more. :-)

Hey chelly, yeah that is one of the reasons for doing this. Trying to document the changes but also pushing myself to draw and experiment more (so it will change/develop more rapidly i hope).

Hey great stuff! It's going to be exciting seeing your style change and grow.

I'm in love with the drawing you made in my sketchbook. Your lines are so damn clean and you used MY PEN so I can't blame my bad lines on my pen anymore =P

hehe, thanks chelly! I try to keep up with all those accounts everywhere :)

Space (and nate and bert): cool, give it a try man! It definitely takes some commitment and I'm not even sure if I can make it that far, but hey, if you won't try you'll never know. I think it's good practice anyway.

heya twinkletoes! I'm gonna take that photo today - I'm sorry its taken a while! Also, can someone who sucks at drawing (ie. me) do this project too? It might be a good way to 'practice'? :D
