So remember how I was asking all those stupid questions? Well you guys helped me SO much and here's what I made:
You like? I hope it makes it past the judges.....
I'm using adobe illustrator. But why's it so bad? I mean i know it won't win the contest, but why not accepted? I've seen badly hand drawn stuff on here... gimme some constructive criticism...
Can you guys see the picture now?
I just sent this in yesterday and I already got rejected today. What did I do wrong? Is it a poor design?? I think it's at least good enough to be in the running with the others, especially with some very sad looking had drawn ones I saw that were just put up today. Is it really that sad looking that a scribble that looks like a 6 year old drew would get picked over it?
oh and I don't like photoshop. I couldn't figure out how to do anything and it's way to expensive to buy.
no it did not. they didn't even accept to let people vote on it! that's what I was so sad about. I don't know what I did wrong. I followed all the parameter for submission so the only way is that they rejected it for poor design. I'm so sad. I was so proud of it. I mean I know i'm no artist but it looked exactly the way I wanted it to look and had the meaning that I wanted... I really don't know how I'd change it.
Ah, it must not have gotten past the inital panel of judges. I'm sorry. Make sure you follow all the guidlines for a design-to-be-submitted. If you've followed all of them, perhaps a stronger design is needed. It's cool, keep your chin up. I just started out myself and I'm not great -- everything takes time. Who knows, you may be the next fad here at Threadless, and it'll be some hard-earned spending dough, eh?
