I saw my buddy Dobi's yearend blog http://robdobi.tumblr.com/post/310572142/2009-year-end-blog-end-of-a-decade and thought it would be a cool thing to have a look back at my own last 10 years. But I also wanted to look toward the next 10 years so I have goals that I can try to achieve.

THE LAST DECADE:

Finally left college after 7 years of wasting away trying to become an engineer.

Became a web designer.

Became an Art Director.

Won some awards for agency work.

Met my future wife.

Started doing t-shirt design.

Got married to my wife.

Won my first t-shirt design contest on Designbyhumans.

Discovered Emptees.

Won $10,000 from Designbyhumans.

Won my first t-shirt design contest on Threadless.

Learned to become a Dad to my wife's son.

Started the baby clothing business googoo&gaga with my wife.

Realized my true path was to follow my own creativity.

Quit my day job.

Won the $3000 contest on Uneetee.

Finally went to Disneyland!! (Hong Kong that is haha).

Got to work on t-shirts for Michael Jackson. Like Dobi, work approved by Michael Jackson himself. Found out it was approved the night before he died.

Adidas and Nike approach me for work after seeing my Kevin Garnett design.

Started teaching t-shirt design to some students.

Worked on a Manny Pacquiao portrait for Nike.

Became a dad! Baby to be born in 2010!

THE NEXT DECADE:

Become the best husband to wife and dad to my kids.

Get featured in more design magazines and books.

Find clients to pay me for CD design, Poster design , Magazine article illustration.

Start to Draw again and get good at it!

Take googoo&gaga international! Find more distributors in the US, Europe, Japan, Australia!

See our googoo&gaga products worn by a kid of some famous or washed out celebrity in the U.S.

Start my own t-shirt line!

Teach more students about t-shirt design.

And so much much more!!!
