Maltzmania
Maltzmania on Jan 01 '08 at 8:19pm

geekgirl06 on Jan 01 '08 at 8:20pm
However, if it's two n's as in poinconne, then it is stamp

Well, poisson is fish.

And that's the extent of my French.

well this is from a movie, when i was reading the subtitles in french, and i might have copied it down quickly but i thought it was right.

[this was for my homework]

also i see that the word poincome exists in french, i just don't know quite what it means. it doesn't show up in the dictionary either...

when you type it into google it's there in a bunch of places, see?
geekgirl06
geekgirl06 on Jan 01 '08 at 8:25pm
yeah, but not very many, and not on any professional sites. Some don't even look French. So it could be slang, but it would be really obscure slang. More likely it's a typo

Even the first place it comes up is just a username... that's pretty iffy.

cool, thanks! And to bhoomika, poinconner is the verb to stamp, so in conjugation, it would come out both poincon and poiconne
