Start a car
with a magnet. Anyone here know how? My friend knew but he graduted last year and I lost my keys for about 3o min this morning :(

did you try searching the intraweb?



PS: im pretty sure you still need to dig into the ignition system. Modern day ignitions require that the gap between the starter and the supply to the engine (spark plugs, alternator, eletrical misc) be connected. Hence the turn of the key into the start position, and hence the crossing of wires to hotwire a car. I seriously doubt you can successfully turn over a car's starter with a magnet.
