So, I was sitting on my back deck thingy and I saw what I thought was a big squirrel grooming himself or something on this tree branch in my periphery. A couple moments later I looked a bit closer and discovered that it was a not a squirrel at all.

Nope. It was a hawk, and it was up in that tree just murdering the crap out of some unidentifiable critter (probably a squirrel). I could hear all the connective tissue breaking and the little bones snapping and see all sorts of gore and grossness.

It was awesome. The end (of the squirrel).

I am so glad that there are no longer and birds around that are big enough to kill and eat us, because looks like a perfectly nasty way to go.

I think it would be an awesome way for human population control.

I once saw a hawklike bird skydiving round the corner of a house out of sight from me, then lots of birds flew away all around, then the hawk walked around out of there looking pissed. That was highly comical.
I guess it was something it tried once in a while.

Cool!
My favorite bird is a sparrow hawk.

That's one of my favorites too, Rick!

There are a lot of birds that fall under "sparrowhawk" though, so I guess to be specific I am particularly fond of the American Kestrel
