what happened to USPS Smartmail?

That was a great option to have. I am now a bit hesitant to make an impulse buy on a shirt if it costs $6.50 to ship. $3.50 was a lot easier.

smartmail was super slow anyways. and it had no tracking.

It did have tracking. They emailed the tracking number to you.

Did they say that they weren't going to use it anymore, or is this just a temporary thing?

I never got one. Maybe it ended up in spam.

I think it's temporary. You could always email the staff.
