What's the deal? This doesn't even look like an "emo" shirt to me. It looks like a cool, clever t-shirt with an amusing and well-done variation of a painting.

So what's with the "I hate this shirt cuz it's emo" business?

pfft.

Also, I'm getting it. Hurrah! Better start listening to MCR and cutting myself!

P.S. Before you call me emo I would like to clarify that like everyone else, I hold every prejudice against emos and in no way stand up for them, just the shirt, which I don't think should be affiliated with such things (I know the competition was "Cheer up, emo kid". I know there's an emo kid in it. But that doesn't make the shirt emo).

So don't be hating on me for not hating on emos because I assure you I do ;)

I haven't said emo enough. EMO EMO EMO EMO EMO EMO.

And don't even get me STARTED on emus...

yeah im sorta pissed off about the whole emo stereo type atm. i can't even sit on a bus without getting harrassed. i mean for f***'s sake. i have blonde curly hair! the only sligtly emo thing i do is wear converse and its because they are comfy as shit. then i get people telling me that bands like metallica and slipknot are "emo". goddamn. im gunna start cutting other people before a kinfe comes anywhere near my skin. ok. thats my rant.

Personally, I like the shirt. It's not for me, but I have a bunch of friends who would love to own it.

Also: IT'S A SHIRT. Y'all seem to be getting upset and forgetting that key fact... Why don't you put all of your upset into something useful like politics or world peace? Seems like a better use of energy.

I bought it cause... well first off it just looks cool... whether it be the "emo" theme or not. And secondly... ever since my friends found out about what "emo" is... they call me Emo Supremo. so whatev. all in good fun.

I was excited for this t-shirt but probably a bit more excited by some of the other ones I was getting, but I just got this one today and WOW. The design (and shirt) fits like a dream and the fawny colour is too rad. LOVE IT!

obviously the shirt in itself is not emo because it can't be emmotional, no shit. but the design, however, IS (or is intended to be) emo.
