I love the promo shots too. They remind me of this one episode of CSI that featured The Whitest Couple In The Universe. Some people are getting offended by either the shirt, the picture, or both, and really I have to think that they don't get it.

The whole point is irony. "The Ghetto" as most of us know it is a place where one would most certainly not stroll around gawking with a magenta umbrella in hand, and it would most certainly not be a place one would want to glorify by white-bread postcard art as has been simulated by the shirt.

Really, if you think about it, certain rappers have been doing the same thing for a decade or two before this shirt was ever a twinkle in the designer's eye. Only they weren't being ironic about it.

Oh, why am I wasting time writing about this when I need to be getting ready for work, where I couldn't wear this shirt anyway? *hapless sigh*
