does pimping your design actually work?... I have my doubts

I feel awkward doing this... but others swear by it.

I have a sub running in the cornelius comp...

actually it DOES help if you want any of the bloggers to vote and comment, since most of these lazy bastages don't vote unless they see it in the blogs

yeah, there's a lot of other factors that help your score. One of my subs did well because it was the first sub on the submissions page for the whole weekend, so naturally, a lot of people clicked it.
