Stocking Error

about Some College Somewhere

I received this email this morning...

Due to a discrepancy in the stock numbers in our database and the actual number of shirts in our warehouse, we are unable to fulfill the following item in your order:

Large Girly Heather Grey Some College Somewhere Girly Tee

Threadless went on to say that I was refunded and given a coupon code...but I just got my shipping confirmation and it says the shirt was included in the batch of shirts that were shipped. Um?

that one will probably be missing from the shipment.....i think the shipment notice just works by order number and is not acually confirming the contents of the order.....

at least you got a free $5 coupon code.....i've had 2 shirts cancelled that way before....

Oooh that sucks. I reallllllllllly wanted that shirt, too. Grr, this probably makes my chances of getting it pretty slim. It seemed like it sold out faster than usual.

I think it sold out because of the sale going on. I'm just glad that I bought mine soon after it was printed so I can show it off to my family.

i had that happen two separate times i tried to order lochness imposter (last year and earlier this year). no fun!

however... someone is selling a girly L SCS on ebay. I think the starting bid is $10...

I agree with DarthG. I ordered two shirts at the shart of the sale, but one was actually out of stock. They were both still on the confirmation, but only one was in the package.

The first time I ordered from Threadless, I bought a Strangers With Candy and a You Sank My Battleship... it took like three weeks for them to arrive, and instead of YSMB I got a SCS. -_-
I returned it... I don't really get why this shirt is so great... anyone care to explain?
