about If It Ain't Metal

I listen to alot of diferent music, and love it. Metal is one I love, and listen to often. But its not just screaming and hard to understand. If thats all you have heard then you are not listening or hearing the good stuff. I just love the whole irony behind it with metalheads and I do like metal. Alot of the lyrics and music are so beautiful (its not JUST SCREAMING) I think it would fit fine if someone wanted to put "country" "punk" "even "gospel"or anything besides metal would be fine. Everyone has their own preferred taste. I cannot believe the nerve of some of you people. You were jsut hurt, because you listen to something else instead and someone insulted it. Threadless shirts, at least to my knowlegde can hurt soem people feeling or go against their beliefs, but that is why i love it here so much, because alot of the people let their ideas, and designs fit to everyone. Also instead of sinking to that level, support your music, your taste and yourself instead of bashing on people who like metal, its rude, and its very prejudging. Were good people, honest. I am a good person. I jsut listen to metal.

I used to be heavily into punk music as a teen, and in a couple of punk bands, we actually made metal songs making fun of it.

Now I'm a metal head, I've been in 2 metal bands and I embrace it for what it is.

Hell, the guys who designed this shirt made albu art for some of my favorite bands! (Mnemic and Norma Jean)

I guess I'm saying I can understand where the people who dislike metal are coming from, having been one of them.

And all I can say is that there's no way to get them to look at the other side, they have to find it themselves, so it's futile to try to point out that they are incorrect.

metal is good, i like it. As long as the lead singer actually sings. I don't like screamo, like Children of Bodom. I don't find any real tune in their songs. It's just a coupla guys playing their guitar and one guy sounding like he has bronchitis

people who listen to one genre of music scare me. I feel like hipsters do that the most. they try to pretend they like other stuff, but they will never give up they're Indie albums. don't get me wrong i like some of that stuff too but i also hate when those same people try to give me a hard time because i also like Napalm Death! It's music people, it's not like we're in rival gangs.

I dont think there is much point arguing over music. In reality, its just noise, emo, rock, punk, metal, alternative. They sound different, but there all just doing the same thing, making noise. Now im not taking this out of context by saying that that is all music does, because music is so much more, but still, no point in arguing about it because we all bleed red just like how we all like noise. Don't knock people for what kind of noise they like.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Because I'm a girl, people think it's stupid for me to like Metal. Then they say that's it's just screaming, and I always tell them "Well, if you can't hear the message then you aren't listening." They never understand. I hate being smart :/

That doesn't really make sense, and I like metal, albeit mainly for technical proficiency on the instruments. Metal is a tad depressing to listen to daily.
