It's colour theory. You know- red+yellow=orange, blue+yellow=green, red+blue=purple...

yeah, it's about the primary colors realizing what they can do for the first. you know "holy cray red! we can make orange!!"

Here's my interpretation: Its three different possible emotional reactions towards having to depend on other people to get beyond our own original states -- happiness... fear/anger? intense satisfaction? the emotions aren't that clear actually, to me. perhaps...
