I read the support stuff, which says "Our new tag format doesn't allow enough space for full washing instructions. The instructions are as follows: Machine wash cold. Wash dark colors separately. Use non-chlorine bleach only if needed. Tumble dry low. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean if decorated. The tee's are primarily 50/50 cotton blend shirts and may shrink slightly."

Does that mean select tees don't shrink when dried in a machine?

i think everything shrinks once in a drier. Just hang em to be sure.

the select tees will probably shrink cause they are 100% cotton.

Another quick question (sorry for these rather nooblike questions). How prone (in general) is the printed design to wearing/washing off? I plan to wash all the shirts I get first thing before I wear them but I don't know how they'll be affected by the first (and subsequent) washes.

I think it depends. Some shirts wear differently than others. I have Bunnies & Dark Side of the Garden (both older tees 1st ed) and they wash perfectly and nothing happens to the print. Both were washed cold & hung to dry.

I got the recent Monster Wash and the print faded & fuzzed a little bit after washing but I had put it in the dryer to shrink it. I also got Psychedelic Peacock which I also put in the dryer to shrink (I bought both shirts too large) and the print was fine.

When you wash them, just turn them inside out first and it should help a little to keep the design from wearing.

would hand washing be better? I know the tees aren't pre shrunk but they will stretch after a while won't they?
