So I'm applying to all sorts of art schools. Three come to mind really. the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is my first choice, MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art and design) is second, KCAI (Kansas City Art Institute) is third, and then School of Visual Arts in New York (SVA) is my actual first but it'll never happen.

SVA passed my portfolio, MIAD told me I had some work to do. KCAI just sorta...invited me to apply (so did RISD, but I was all like "30,000 a year? hell no"). SAIC would be LOVELY. I find out on January the 5th if I have what it takes.

Single parent, brother already in college, other brother married. Money isn't exactly easy for us to come by.

i got mah mom, my sister is currently not working, but luckily doesn't have the baby right now, and i have three horses (so we might as well be paying someone else's tuition)

This one time I was 16 and I joined threadless cause I thought I was the next big illustrator. Then I got an art degree and got bored and came back only to be super ashamed of things I put my name on. So now I'm doodling on the off chance someone wants to buy my doodles. Yay!
