i'm guessing natalie dee didn't do this first, because that was included in her "fall 2006" collection, and this design was made in november 2005.

You're right letmenatalya, I do hate these posts. And, Natalie Dee's work looks a lot like Sam Brown's Exploding Dog. Was one shirt inspired by the other or did two people have the same idea or is someone a thieving SOB? Who cares?!

(And the original webcomic was made ages ago, the shirt was just made lately. I could care less, though. It's dirty, I wouldn't buy either, hehehe.)

i don't have a problem with this li'l soap design. i think it's cute and is effective at looking like a 3d bar of shop using only two colors (and then a third for the bubbles). it's not something i would wear, though.

I agree. Lil' soap is a fine design.

I do hate natalie dee, though. 90% un-funny with a hefty helping of explodingdog ripoff.

Well it's clear that you don't know me just by that comment. Nothing about me makes sense. Duh. Except my view on liking one shirt with soap and butts and not the other.

Both the shirts are pretty much totally different, except one's drawn crappy and hasn't quite mastered a *punchy* punch-line.

Bah. Soap etc.

I would agree. take away the words on the other T-shirt, and all you have is a blue rectangle. Take away this little caption and you still have an easily recognizable and still highly cute bar of soap.
