People who delete blogs are seriously lame...

I mean, sure go ahead and delete them when you're losing an argument. Pity you won't be able to delete our memory of it, in fact you just make yourself look more of a fool in the process. I thought the blog was actually important to remember other terrible things going on in the world...

oh well /sigh

I agree! This wasn't a particularly bad one, but sometimes people delete blogs just because they aren't the center of them any more, which is the WORST!

uh.. ecokid, people suggested to delete it because it was only upsetting people.

Also, he took a suggestion from someone else which is more beneficial than printing a shirt. He's thinking of going there to help out at the school.

I wish blogs like that would stay up. I like reading the evolution of a blog, especially if I stumble across it and wonder "Where the hell did all this anger come from?" I like seeing if the usually steps apply: Innocent comment, bold suggestion, condemnation of an idea, rebuttal, others join in, name-calling ensues, someone calls for calm, name-calling reduces a bit, someone suggests changing the subject, someone else makes a joke to ease the tension, one of the parties that started the argument leaves. you can almost set your watch by it.

It just bugs me, how people think they can get away with being an twit-even though i'm sure his intention was perfectable honourable- just by deleting the blog. It allows people to get away with treating people like shit.

why would Threadless make a shirt for Iraq or genocide? most shirt designs would probably just end up picking one side to support versus the other. where would you send the money that was generated as a result? to Al Qaeda? to the Pentagon?

making a shirt for Katrina or the Tsunami disaster is easy to support. there is no opposition to piss off and the people impacted need money in order to get their lives back together.

i'm not sure i would support making a VTech memorial shirt. its not like handing a pile of money to the parent's kids makes it any easier on having lost a child due to the senseless violence of one person.

Considering the context of the hate comments in that one blog I personally think it was better.

What would have happened if some one from V Tech or related to someone who died in V Tech saw that? They would feel like no one cared. I agree that FoH was rather pushy and rude with his comments.
