***Spoiler Alert!***

On the fourth edition of "Atlas of Human Anatomy," Dr. Frank H. Netter dies on plate 377. It's true! Netter died. See for yourself - Netter is dead.
Yeah, I remember playing Doom when I was in elementary school.

I hated that game.

It seemed as though I could never kill anything in Doom. It was as though my bullets were made out of marshmallows and the monsters had over 9000 HP. I'd shoot and shoot and they wouldn't die!

Also, that game was scary. Not because the monsters were scary, but because I felt completely helpless against them. The pressure was too much for me, I guess. I preferred games where I could take my time to enjoy and solve puzzles and stuff, nothing of the sort of Doom :/

Yet my friends made me play it back then a lot. I'd watch them kill, they'd watch me phail. It was horrible.

To this day, I stay away from Doom. Not that I hate first person shooters - I play a lot of that. A LOT of that. I'll play UT2k4, Quake, HL and CS for you any day of the week and love it, but just don't give me Doom.

I have a problem with Doom. I'm scarred for life. Memories and stuff. They're not nice, you know...
Did you know that several styles of buns are available for your Whataburger sandwiches at request?

I didn't... until yesterday.

For one thing, you can order your buns to be toasted! You can specify how toasty you want your bun in gradients ranging from slightly toasted buns, to buns toasted to a crisp.

Not only can you toast your bun, but you also have a choice of bun sizes. There are two sizes available at Whataburger for buns - small, and regular. Small buns are too small for the generic meat patties, giving the burger a visual effect that makes it look like there's too much meat in the burger. With the advent of small buns, you can lay your head in the table, stare at your double meat burger, and with the use of a little bit of imagination, successfully convince yourself that it's the biggest burger you have ever seen.

Critics argue that the choice of ordering small buns for burgers should be dismissed, for small buns have a purely aesthetic advantage. They argue that the negative effects of small buns are far more prevalent and disadvantageous, for the loss of a "couple of inches of bread" presumably decreases the satiety effects of burgers on a large scale. However, most researchers beg to differ, as recent studies have shown that the ordering of small buns on standard Whataburgers has an average increase in levels of hunger satiety of 18.7% [Flowers et al]. These same studies suggest that this curious, yet little understood effect may be due to the psychological attributes big burgers with small buns inherently attain.

Also, you can get wheat buns, but those just plain suck.
Name a song that makes you cry or get teary eyes, at least.

There's one part I hate about taking classes.

You know how some of them have you pick a partner to interview, do a presentation with, do a lab with, or make out with?

Well I *hate* that.

Partnering up is not my forte. May I say, it's almost a phobia. I start shivering at the first mutter of "pick a partner" from the instructor. Sure, it's a good way to make friends (if you're sociable enough), but most times you're not THERE to make friends. Interviews get really awkward, presentations come out half-sketchy and half-assed, and labs often get split up in two (uneven) parts. I my Immunology class last year, I ended up making out with some old, Asian guy. Ewwww.......

You'd think partnering up is always a good thing when you have friends in the class. It's actually THE WORST when you have an even number of them... making ME (most likely) the odd man out. I swear - I get VERY nervous in these situations. There's a lot to think about - who I want to be with, who wants to be with me, who he'd rather be with, who wants to go somewhere else, etc.

It all just gets very awkward and ruins the whole day for me.

BAH.
Hello everyone!

Waiting in line one day, it came upon me the idea to paint my shoes. They ARE canvas after all, you know!

This was originally a pair of red cons I bought at Ross for 15 bucks (steal!). I didn't get tired of the color, not at all - I simply wanted more of it.

What do you guys think?

Now that the painting portion of my project is complete, all I need to do is find good shoelaces to match and wear my beauties! And here lies the problem - I can't decide what sort of shoelaces would make them complete!

Should I get thin ones, thick ones, red ones, white ones, black ones, or what? I have red and black paint at my disposal, should we decide to spatter them as well. I could do thick spatters or use a toothbrush to spray them evenly as well.

Do you have any input or any ideas? I'd like to hear them!
I messed up my right thumb nail bed last week. It's the very thumb I use to press down the spacebar after every word I type. It hurts every time I do. I could use the other one, but I'm set on using this one. Can't get used to the change.

Since then, I haven't been on the mood to type, or post, or log on to one of those many IM applications. It's also hard to jump on games I play.

I hope it heals soon.

In the mean time, I've finished working on a project of some sort. I Will show pics later. Turned out pretty well.
Dear Threadless:

This morning, I drove down to a local hospital and found a poster promoting handwashing that looked VERY familiar.

Can you guess WHY?

I added a finger, and the puzzle pieces came together! (literally!)

Apparently, this artist called "ECOLAB Healthcare" is ripping Threadless designs off! *shock*

Check your hospitals and take pictures, people! We need as much evidence to aid our crusade against Threadless plagiarism!

PS: I had a good time today.
