Oh my god, I'm so sick of hearing people complain about this shirt being reprinted. Are people really such elitists that they can't stand the thought of someone else wearing the same shirt as them? Yes, I realize that there is a certain special feeling that you get from having a shirt that no one around you has, but really, Threadless doesn't seem to print terribly many of each shirt (of course, I don't know the exact numbers, and I'm basing my assumption off what people before me have said, so I could be way off on this). It's not like it's being sold in f*cking American Eagle, at least. And if you do see someone around who is wearing this shirt and who has ::gasp:: supported the artist and Threadless by buying it, I hope that you count yourself lucky for knowing people cool enough to buy shirts from here. I know I do when I see the relatively few people on my campus who wear Threadless stuff.

So please, stop whining about "everyone and their mother and their mother's dog" having this shirt. Let the newbies have a chance to get a great shirt. At very least, you can just sit and pride yourself in the fact that you were into this shirt long before anyone else was, making you so very indie.

..Of course, it could just be that I'm bitter about having missed out on the first edition and the first reprint when I saw them on the site some time ago (before I became a member, obviously). Damn my lack of money.

how can you be gothic and blonde at the same time? i thought your hair was supposed to be purple or pink, or at least a sheenless black.

Um people havent said anything in months.

I agree with you a bit, at the end of the day its all supply and demand, but on the other hand I think the desire to know you have something that no one else does is pretty strong, its why collectors buy toys and wont take them out of their box. The price gets totally inflated simply because there is not enough supply to match the demand, stick a number on it and that makes it even more amazing because you know you're the first to own it.

For the 260 million people and another 36m in Canada, 4000-10000 is... miniscule. Plus, by chance if you see a random person on the street, you've got to compliment him or her on his taste even if it was first edition or fifth.
