So even after doing a graphic design internship this summer, it took me WAY too long to figure out this shirt.

I am so embarrassed. =(

but now that I understand, I want to buy it =)
Okay, so I was about to buy a print just now, but the lowest shipping was $12.50.

TWELVE FIFTY! That's almost as much as the print itself! And, yes, the total was still less than 35, so I would have come out a few bucks ahead, but the point is that I hadn't bought a print in the past because they were (in my mind,) too expensive.

Is shipping for the prints always in this steep price range, or is it perhaps the area I'm living in? This sale ends Sunday, right? My next paycheck won't be coming 'til Wednesday =(
I got a reprint notification for Dark Side of the Garden, and oh, how sad that was for me.

I used to date a guy who was really into Star Wars, so I was going to buy that shirt for him. The sad thing is, I voted for a reprint of this shirt about a year ago. This relationship is far dead and gone.

So, actually, I am curious
Do you guys ever get reprint notifications that remind you of a certain time in your life? Or, do you just request reprints for the simple reason of liking the shirt.
So, is it me, or does the male model look incredibly angry in this picture?
I swear he is about to beat me up or something.

. . .
the shirt looks good on him though
(andheskindofcute.)
Is the entire design on this shirt on the back? Or is it on the front and back? I can't really tell by the picture, but when you see the guy wearing the shirt it looks like you can see the print of the design on his back and not on his front at all.

I was hoping this shirt would be printed like iconoclast (I believe that's what it's called) and have the design all over. Though ... wait, is iconoclast just the design on the front? Bah!
A threadless sale when I have 50 dollars in my checking account? Damn you, threadless! I know that, in theory I could afford a shirt or two, but I'm not a reckless, frivolous teenager who is willing to run her account down to 0! The fact that I'm at 50 bucks is pathetic enough.

I really wanted to get an XS to see how it fits, too.
I just spent a week in the South (GEORGIA!) and I have bad sunburn
ewww.

I don't hate the South as much as I used to, though.
What a great thing.
Oman. Spring break starts next week and I'm going to Columbus, Georgia for Habitat for Humanity.

I have a feeling that I might regret signing up for this.
I did hear, however, that Jimmy Carter will be there! I hope they ain't lyin'!

Someone told me to tell every Georgia native that I liked Lynard Skynard. Good or bad advice?
I chose to stay in on a Saturday night and now I feel lame and uncool.
Anyone ever forgo a social life for unnecessary "me" time?
. . .
don't have a social life at all?
I'm trying to make a t-shirt again (please don't even look at the one design I tried to submit. It is shameful.) and I just want to know if anyone can give me tips or something.

Basically my shirt is just an old man's face, but I want him to look more realistic.
I'm doing it in illustrator... what kind of lines/shade/depth should I add so it looks like a real old man and not a flat boring cartoonish old man?

And can I do this with it remaining as two colors?
(Right now I'm doing it in hot pink, but I think I'm going to change it to something duller.)

Yeah, I know it's bad and I'm still working on it...
but I really want a shirt with a giant old man on it.
you should too!

This is the t-shirt design

All about me

I really like being a redhead.

I'm going to be a junior at Syracuse University. I am majoring in computer art with a minor in entrepreneurship. Syracuse is cold and lame.

When I'm not in school I live in the Chicago 'burbs. I always get unnaturally excited when I meet people from Chicago. I also get to go to the Threadless store, and you don't.
