what jeans are good?

I've been looking around for jeans recently but I can't seem to find any (either grossly overpriced, ill-fitting or generic) so I'll probably be resorting to getting them off the net. :(

does anyone have any good brands in mind? I like straight cut and distressed jeans. link me up!

I'm preferential to Abercrombie and Fitch. You should go to your local store, sometimes they have outrageous sales. I bought 2 pairs of very stylish A&F jeans for around $36.

Depends on the body. every brand fits everyone differently. my advice is to get out there and try on as many as possible! =)

the new levi's for girls don't cut it for me. they only have two sizes: tight and tightest -_- and the cutting's all boot.

kirsten: yeah.. but we don't have alot of brands to choose from here. which is why i'm getting a little desperate. haha =)

Avoid the overpriced Diesel.. some of the Levis jeans are cheap (under 50 bucks) and good quality.

whilst googaling tsubi to find a site with a little more info i just found out one of the guys i used to bodyboard with from sydney is one of the founders and owners... no wonder i dont see much of him anymore...

Juicy jeans fit me well. However, I get them at Off 5th, the Sak's outlet type store because I refuse to pay $300-400 for a plain pair of jeans. Cavaricci is another brand that's decent. I think I got a pair for $40 on sale.

Gap jeans are shitty. Mine started getting holey and the pockets began detaching after a few months. Bleh.

.. $300-$400 is way too overpriced for a few strips of denim, amish -_- and gap does suck. i threw out my only pair in about 3 months.
