he was printing them himself. the quality is kinda crummy, its printed on some china brand or something. the worse is he claimed that they were original designs that were exclusive to his store only -_-

and the stores name is...?

I saw label's TIME FADES worn by a smalltime actor on a smalltime tv show. The placement was put on the upper left shoulder and it was printed on a sleeveless shirt. What a gay.

yeah i guess.. but the overwhelming surge of rip offs is kind of disturbing -_- i went shopping today and saw at least 6-7 stores selling rip offs.

I'm not sure I think it depends on the country etc? And I don't know if Threadless can actually sue them since the copyright of the designs still belongs to the artists.



But I'm pretty sure that there is some recourse for the artists who can prove that the work is theirs (ie: illustrator files etc showing the work) as well as the printed shirts from threadless w/ submission dates etc. But it would cost money as you'd probably have to hire a lawyer. Maybe you could id most of the designs and the artists can do a joint lawsuit?



Also you would need to make sure that the designs were not changed. Also I'm pretty sure that the knock off threshold is that the design needs to be changed more than 10% in order to not be considered a knock-off.



But all that is only if you're 100% sure that the shirts are fakes. To do that the artists would need the stores name as well as a couple of the knockoff shirts to compare the difference. I would also probably help to get the store manager & owners name.

somehow i think they're trying to pull this off thinking threadless is still pretty unknown in singapore. its just the claiming that all designs are their own that annoys me, because it's obviously unfair to the artists.

i went to a store once and saw the dark side of the garden

and i went to see if it was a ripoff but it was actually the threadless shirt

so some stores might have just ordered alot of them



i am not siding with the store in the picture or anything all ia m saying is at least check the tag first
