I've been working on a series of experimental, stop-motion comedy shorts - done with night lights. I've collected a bunch of "character" night lights, and gathered together some terrific NYC improvisers I met through the Upright Citizens Brigade (including folks from SNL's Weekend Update, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, VH1's Best Week Ever, The Daily Show, and Late Show with David Letterman) and recorded them as these personalities. Simple stop-motion and miniature sets bring the worlds to life.
The next installment is up and running at: http://nightlight.cf.huffingtonpost.com/ It's part of the Huffington Post's Contagious Festival, so if you enjoy it, please pass the link along If you saw the first night light "episode", I hope you'll agree this one is an improvement. Please take look when you can. I hope you enjoy it. Best always, jeff
Hello there.
I'm promoting a slogan I have in the running in hopes of getting the t-shirt printed. The slogan is: Don't mess with me, or I'll blog about you. The whole idea came up when some Rent-A-Cops stopped me and my friends from playing frisbee in the park. (they said there was no frisbee playing aloud, which turned out not to be true). Anyway, I had this idea where I'd make a t-shirt which read "Don't mess with me, or I'll blog about you." I'd wear this shirt as fair warning for any jackass, inept customer service folk, or just plain mean person I encountered. If you like the shirt idea, I'd sure appreciate if you'd visit my Threadless profile page to vote. You won't see the voting buttons unless you register first, but you probably know that. The link to vote is here: http://www.threadless.com/profile/322498/gspan/slogans And hey, my blog is here: www.jeffgreenspan.com/blog have a great day Thanks.
Dear Gentle Readers:
I had this idea where I'd make a t-shirt which read "Don't mess with me, or I'll blog about you." I'd wear this shirt for a week and any jackass, inept customer service folk, or just plain mean person I encountered - I'd document their lameness on my blog. I promptly relaized I'd never do this, but some friends liked the t-shirt idea. My slogan seemes stalled in the voting, with no yay or nay votes coming in. So, I thought I'd post here for some help. I'm not looking to win any conest money or anything, just want to see this slogan make it. If you like the shirt idea, I'd sure appreciate if you'd visit my Threadless profile page to vote. You won't see the voting buttons unless you're signed in first, but that literally takes less than a minute. The link to my profile/voting is: http://www.threadless.com/profile/322498/gspan/slogans oh, and speaking of blogs, mine is: www.jeffgreenspan.com/blog in case you're interested Thanks.
