Kim, I wish we had a universal healthcare system here. A friend of mine spent 7 hours in the hospital a few weeks ago and received a bill for almost $20,000

Dude, this is horrid you don't have any insurance, have you tried applying for any programs that can help you pay for hospital stays in your area? I'll try to pony up some dough in the next day or two for ya :) Get better soon!
