Anybody actually still have a working NES?

Oooh, that was one of my faves. I loved designing my own courses...I've been thinking about getting an NES from ebay or somewhere, but I lag.

I have 3. and 1 top loading 1

my husband collects gaming systems. so we use the top loading most because that is the most reliable. then the other 3 are sort of back ups in case something happens to any of them..

Wow, I just checked ebay, and they aren't that expensive, and often come with games. Why haven't I bought one?

I played Zelda not that long ago, all the way to the end.

most nintendo games you beat in one sitting, or you didnt, that was one of the few that you could go back to. It was funny and F-ng hard. that last dungeon. ugh.

lordog on May 16 '08 at 3:08pm
I bought the Game Cube specifically for the Zelda game pack. It has all Zelda games from NES on up to Game Cube, but you can save your games on it. It makes the old Zelda games 10000% easier.

   Torakamikaze on May 16 '08 at 3:12pm
yeah man... id pause games, then turn the tv off. my mom would get so pissed at me whenever shed find out id left the nes on for hours
DaniellesGarden
   DaniellesGarden on May 16 '08 at 3:12pm
yeah, just shutting off the tv while the game was on pause so my mother didnt realize what i was doing. lol.. I would leave it like that overnight and until I got home from school.

one time we were playing bubble bobble and were on the 99th level, and we got so excited about nearly passing the game that we jumped up and accidently pulled the nintendo from its ac source DDD:
