Traverse City Film Festival...

Hello All!

I'm heading to the Traverse City Film Festival this evening after work. Just curious to see if any other Threadless members are from Michigan...or if any are attending the festival this weekend?

It's been going on since Monday, but I couldn't take the time off work to make it a week long trip.

I'll be seeing "Borat" tonight at 10:00PM. "Full Metal Jacket" tomorrow at 4:00PM and "Clockwork Orange" at 10:00PM.

I'm hoping to make it a longer trip next year.

Ohhhhh! Full Metal Jacket and Clockwork Orange are both really good. I'm jealous.

Oh wait - I have the Stanley Kubrick DVD collection :D

But yeah - that sounds really cool! What's Borat about? I've never heard of it. Thanks for the link, btw. You kept me from asking a lot of stupid questions about the festival.

It'll be cool seeing Full Metal Jacket and Clockwork Orange in the theater....Plus Mathew Modine will be there to introduce Full Metal Jacket and Malcolm McDowell will be introducing Clockwork Orange!

The film fest was awesome!

I got to meet Matthew Modine and he did a Q&A after the screening of Full Metal Jacket....Then he went next door to a bookstore and did a book signing for his new book "Full Metal Jacket Diary"...and did another Q&A.

Then Malcom McDowell was at the screening of A Clockwork Orange. He couldn't stay for a Q&A after the film so he did a quick one before the film followed by him performing "Singin' in the Rain" IT ROCKED!!!
