none of my slogans have ever gotten more than 25 votes... stupid :-\

Yeah, the voting on the slogans is a bit haphazard. I imagine the ones that get printed are the ones by people who know enough threadless users to give it a high score. I think the score thingy should be higher up on the home page to encourage people to spend a couple of minutes voting.

If it were logical I'd of been printed by now, no serriously one of my slogans is holding at 47% with 160 votes and another at 35% with 210 votes.

they should only allow a certain amount of slogans per user per day or week or something. cause some people do like 15 or 20 on any given day.
honestly, i do read them all, but unless i think its really clever, i dont even think about giving it a yes.

I have no idea. My top one is at 57% with 80-something votes. I think they just wade through the slogans, find decent ones they like and print that one.
At least, that's what it almost seems like.

with so many submissions maybe they should be printing more than one, and maybe reviewign them before putting them up for voting. maybe theyre just too busy.

Yeah, threadless seems to be hip to the voting. if a slogan is weak, but has 210 votes because it's from a popular person, they'll notice.

Same coin, if it has 40 votes, a decent showing and is a good slogan, bada bing.

I'm happy with that knowledge, since I'm not popular around here and I get 23 votes per slogan at best.

Maybe there could be a randomizer at the front of the site for how the slogans pop up. A fat as I can tell, they go with the most recent one backwards (as I've always been able to vote for mine on th front page seconds after submitting.)

Maybe random would help spread the voters out a bit?

I think whether you get picked depends on whether the Threadless people can visualize a type design to go with it--since there's no image, it has to sound and look good as a package. So if you get above a certain percentage with as few as 33 votes (stop/drop/roll) you can win over something with more votes and a higher percentage.

Yeah, the type I guess is pretty important. Sometimes with my slogans I can sort of visualise how I wold present it, sometimes not... that makes me sound a bit psycho doesn't it? What I mean is, I guess if you can submit a slogan that you think has all that potential (sound and look good then that's your best bet. It would help if mine sucked less too!
