How long are you staying in Amsterdam?

I'll be there around the 8th and I'll only be in Amsterdam for a couple days...maybe four or five...

get out of Amsterdam and check out other dutch towns and cities is my advice for Amsterdam. Sure do some stuff there, but don't hang out there the whole time, the Netherlands is small enough to travel around easily by train/bus, and there is a lot to see ouside the tourist circuit of amsterdam....

Oh in 4 or 5 days you can see a lot!

- Canal tour
- The Heineken Experience
- Van Gogh Museum
- Red light district
- Vondel Park
- much more

Also don't forget to try:
-Kroketten
-Kibbeling
-Stroopwafels

Should I check out the Anne Frank House?

Yeah! If you can, try to make an online reservation. During high season there can be quite a line, which you can skip with a reservation!

strooooooopwafels. i haven't had one in over a year and i am still salivating. there is an awesome cafe in amsterdam called langendijk eetcafe that's next to a windmill. i had an amazing goat cheese salad there, probably the best salad i've ever had. they also had live music when i was there. definitely worth checking out.

go to edinburgh in scotland for sure. if you go to the royal museum you can see taxidermy dolly the sheep and program a robot to spell whatever you fancy.

You'll be in Scotland in time for the edinburgh festival, it goes on for about a month and its insane, by far the busiest time of year, people preform plays, stand up comedy shows and pretty much anything else you can imagine and a lot of its free!

Of course the free stuff isnt always that amazing but there are a lot of cheap shows as well.

I'm going for the first time this august, unfortunately I wont be able to meet because I'm on a training weekend so I wont have free time but yeah check out Edinburgh.

...we kind of planned it to be able to check out the Edinburgh Festival! Got a full schedule in Scotland, but there's always room for good suggestions...

Any music shows over there in August?? I'd love to catch a band while I'm there!
