Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.

More info here... I guess there are something like 40 specific comics that are given away. So check out your local comic book store tomorrow for freeeeee comic books! And apparently they're giving away some Star Wars and Iron Man figures too.

Didn't go to the game. It was cold and miserable and I hate going to baseball games alone... And they didn't end up starting until 9:30.

yeah, they just took Buchholz out. (I'm almost glad I didn't go cause I went to two Buchholz starts already this year and he lost both...) Sox up 6-1 in the 6th. And yeah, the standings are really bizarre.

grrr, so one of the comic shops that used to be downtown isn't there anymore and the other one is owned by a really cranky guy and the sign says he opens at 11-ish and we didn't think he participated

so no free comics

i wanted Helllboy Superman and The Moth free comics

but i live in a comic shopless town and the UK often charges for the comics :(

if anyone has spares of any of these comics i'd be willing to trade some British candy/ random stuff for them!
