Hi guyz, I need some advice.

Yesterday was kind of a nuts day, where I had to set up a stage on campus where a one "Girl Talk" would be playing that evening. Me, being the ungraceful idiot I am, tripped over a cable that was on the edge of the stage (about 8-10 feet off the ground) while going to plug in a speaker, and I landed on the light truss system that was being readied to be hoisted to the top of the stage (they look like this in case you haven't seen one before).

I managed to get out of it with only some sick bruises and bumps, but today I've started having some horrible back pain that flares up every forty minutes or so and renders me immobile. I don't really know what to do about it, but it's unbearable, so I thought I might come to you guys for advice. Any tips on how to lessen back pain? Would dissolving epsom salt in a bath help this kind of thing?

you could try soaking. I would be inclined to see a doctor though.

The pain extends from right below my right shoulder to the center of my back.

I was considering the doctor, but I didn't know if this was just general soreness that would disappear in a couple days, and I thought I would wait it out to see. If it persists, though, I think seeing a doctor is really my only option because of how painful it is. :(

My friend was at that exact same Girl Talk show by the way...

I would go to a chiropractor and just ask for advice. That way you don't spend any money and are still given proper guidance. Hopefully the person is nice enough to really be helpful too.

I don't know if it is muscle pain or nerve pain, but if it is pain resulting from muscles try doing some yoga that is specifically for that muscle group to help.

If you don't think it is muscle pain can you try to describe the exact spot that hurts?

I'd see a doctor regardless. Don't take chances with your back. If you leave it and it gets worse you could be fucked for life. Sounds dramatic but I'm speaking from experience.

Funny that this blog got bumped.

I just woke up about half an hour ago in excruciating pain and took some painkillers, but so far they're not doing the job.

It feels totally unbearable right now, but I'll have to wait a few more hours so I can bus it down to campus and go to the health center.

Anna would totally be my best lady.
People'd be like, "You gotta have a best man dawg. That gay." And I'd be all like, "Yo, fuck you, poopturd, I can do whatever I want! It my wedding."
And then Anna and I would smash fists and start breakdancing all over the altar.
