Today I received some diabetes in the mail
From an extremely special dude.


Some of you might remember those delicious peanut butter marshmallow bars Brian brought to Chicago. Well today I received some of those in the mail from the guy himself! But wait! He replaced the peanut butter with Nutella, making some incredible concoction that makes my mouth do tastebud orgasms.
Annnnnddddd...


He sent me the remaining Nutella!!


And an 11-page note, which I enjoyed all the way through. :)

Basically what I'm saying is that I love Brian more than anybody in the world, and you all should too. That guy rules.

i just got back from seeing Dan Deacon, Girl Talk, MSTRKRFT, MGMT, and others at an amazing music festival! so much dancing! fireworks and ferris wheels!

that note has a lot of silly crappy drawings in it, so it's not 11 pages of pure writing. but i did conduct a neat experiment on page two in which i wrote a portion while partially blind (having just returned from the eye doctor) because i wanted to see how legible it would turn out.

it actually wasn't that bad. there's a noticeable difference, but it was pretty legible. i tended to gradually write farther and farther from the left margin with each line, though, so it has a nice slant to it.
