Hey i'm new to this sort of design stuff as i usually preffer to design on paper, but i was wondering what size I should start off with in photoshop?
I get really confused when veiwing in actual pixels or print size, whats the difference and why is there a difference?
I have done one design so far, to tell you the truth i want it to be rejected coz i don't like it that much it was just me mucking aroung, plus i think its all the wrong size on the original :S
So pretty much i'm asking what dpi to start with and what image size? try not to give me to muck technical crap coz i'm really not a computer wiz!

Quick tip:

1. When doing it in Photoshop, make sure the resolution is atleast150dpi (mine's 300dpi just to make sure)

2. When doing it in Illustrator, it really don't matter for it's in Vector format. So whether you resize it, shrink it, the quality will not change.

3. When in doubt, use the smell test.
