I'm not sure what kind of impact Twitter tees will have on the Threadless community as we know it, but I applaud Threadless for pushing the crowdsourcing envelope.

Could they've just promoted the shit out of the Type Tees site via the Threadless Twitter account? Sure. But they didn't. You know why? Because the Threadless brainiacs are innovative motherf*ckers.

Not into Twitter? No worries because as skaw pointed out in Threadless News post, the Threadless community is still here. It's not like they shot your favorite dog and replaced it with a wise-cracking parrot. Your dog is still hanging out in the living room, being your best friend and now there just happens to be a parrot in your dining room who wildly squawks everything you mumble under your breath.*

Just like anything else in life (or on the web), if you like it, good for you! If you don't like it, you have the choice to not participate. Simple as that.
