That's right party people - Threadless' hottest officially unofficial blank t-shirt contest is back! If you're new here or you've been living under a rock, click here to learn about the first Threadmodel contest.

The magical powers of Threadless' own super-awesome t-shirts spawned a panel of judges and they're currently finalizing categories, prized and tons of other cool business.


HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Step 1: Post up to five photographs of yourself wearing a blank tee in this blog. You may post more if you choose, but only your first five photos will be considering for voting.

Step 2: Add your photos to the Threadmodel Flickr Group. When doing so, please use Flickr tags to describe your photo so it's easier for designers to search through (shirt color, shirt style, blogger name etc.)

All contest photos must be posted no later than 11:59 P.M., May 1st


TIPS/SUGGESTIONS/IDEAS
--Your photos should be hi-res. This will allow designers to crop/edit/manipulate your photo without compromising the overall quality.

--Be creative with your photo! This is a contest and you should go the extra mile-- costumes, disguises, unique backgrounds and general silliness are heavily encouraged.

--Any shirt color may be used, but the shirt should be blank and cut in the style of a typical Threadless shirt, whether it is a long- or short-sleeved tee or a hoodie. It may work to turn a shirt inside out if the design doesn't show through. You could also wear the shirt backwards.

--It's not required that your face be displayed in the photo, but it is encouraged.

--Consider posing for designs that use back or side placement.

--Don't forget that Threadless makes shirts for little 'uns too. If you've got any youngsters in your life, remember that kid models are welcome.

--For some designers, a plain background is easier to work with. Consider posing in front of a blank wall. This is not a requirement, though, so if you have an idea that involves a more interesting setting, go for it.

--Try to capture the whole t-shirt in your photo to allow the designer more options for placement.

--from valorandvellum: Sometimes it's good to make sure that your head and none of your limbs are cut off in the photo. If a designer wants to clip out a model to be placed over the design, you don't want a flat-head looking model! That means they would go with another model, the design would get printed and then you might be crying in the corner because you didn't get the free shirt. And nobody wants that.
