along the seams there are small brown smudges, almost look like either chocolate or poop stains.
also, along the bottom seam there are breaks/fading in the design.
i was wondering if this is with all the shirts or jut mine...
as there was no mention of possible imperfections anywhere.
thanks!

Yeah. That's just Jan's artwork. It looks like poop stains.

mine is little like that. each shirt has imperfections based on the print technique, some worse than others.

I just got mine yesterday. I love it! It does have, in one armpit, a stain of a different color, a light brown - it's a spot about the size of a pencil eraser, and I love the shirt, so I'm keeping it anyway, but it is visible and not the same color as the print. Also, my shirt had a few creases in it at the bottom and arms, so when this was printed, the areas that were printed over the creases appear as broken lines. Since the rest of the yak is kinda like that too, it doesn't bother me. And the print is lighter on my shirt along the side seams.

Uhm, in the bin??? Those are less than what I have, and I love this shirt. I think you're over-reacting. At least give it to a friend.

Ok, but don't judge Threadless based on this - the belt-printing process is different from the regular screens they use and it comes with irregularities. To me it's worth it, because I think this design is great, and very few people get that close to my armpit anyway. That said, maybe a little bleach on the tip of a cotton swab could help.

That said, maybe a little bleach on the tip of a cotton swab could help.

bleach will actually degrade the cotton and could cause a hole if it's left on too long, so I wouldn't recommend that. all of this is really just the nature of belt printing. the way it works is rather than having a smaller screen, it's actually a GIGANTIC screen that covers the entire tee. the tee is vacuumed down to the bed so any small wrinkles or bunches can cause small imperfections in the print. it's most likely around seams, especially the neck or the armpit. we'll definitely make it more clear on the product pages about the type of imperfections that are possible with this process.

the stain is on the inseam on the side of the shirt...it's only noticeable if someone was to forceably lift my arm and tilt their head sideways to look at the stain....and usually only boozecrazed hobos in downtown boston will do that to me...

...on weekends.
