With almost all of my designs are coming in around 1.75, I was about to give up on my threadless hobby entirely.

Then I started scoring slogans.

Then I went and looked at all of the slogans FrigginAwesome had submitted and I realized that maaaybe there's a place for me after all.

I don't know what made me think I was an artist all of a sudden, but I've done stand-up for 13 years. DUH!

Slogans it is!!!

I've been a HUGE threadless fan. I've spread the word and turned lots of new customers onto this site.

So am I justified in being angry today? You tell me...

I submitted a design 5 days ago called "Jammin' with Hippie Chicks." Yesterday I got the notification that it was up for voting and this morning used the lovely little link that Threadtoless gave me to email my friends and whatnot.

With only about 24 hours on the floor, the voting ended early. Most of my friends won't even get the email until they get to work tomorrow.

Are there really soooo many submissions that they can't give it, oh, I dunno, TWO of the seven days?

I mean, it said there were six days left, right?

It's been a week or so since I submitted it, but now you can all go tell me how much you love/hate Kermit the Frog doing the Time Warp....

Well, my submission "Old Age Ahead" went on the chopping block today and that's cool, although I'm a lot more enthusiastic about "...Just a Hop to the Left" which is still pending.
....
So here's my question: I designed this with the intended theme of live fast and hard because you'll be old before you know it, but my brother read it as "drive fast, there are old people up ahead you should run over."

Which way do you guys take it?

Hehehe... I want to see a design where a bunch of little men are painting their yellow submarine a new color with some text eluding to how they're sick to death of that song.

WAIT! Not little men.... LITTLE BEETLES!!!

Do you ever have a great shirt idea and just KNOW you could design it yourself?

Do you ever feel the urge to create but find yourself staring at a blank page for hours?

I'm sure the answer is YES and YES for some of. So here's what I'm proposing... If you have a good idea, go to the blog and post it as

THINK TANK - "Idea Title Here"

This will make them easier to spot.

So here's the thing: if you post a good idea in the THINK TANK, the intent is to give it away, to spurn someone else's creativity.

NO WHINING LATER if the idea you chose to share gets designed by someone else and printed.

I mean, we're pretty cool like that, right? This will be fun... I'm gonna start.

I just put this in the critique section, but I'm dying for feedback on this one.

I've been working on this for a while and I'm not sure if it's getting better or worse. Mostly, I'm not sure if anyone remembers the theme song from Mr. Rogers.

This is a little blurry because the larger working image is on my work computer. I'm just working on it as a concept. If I get a thumbs up from alla ya'll then I'm fix the big one to match this crappy copy.
