about The Early Bird and the Worm

Yesterday when I came home from work this shirt was waiting for me! I showed it to my sister, who looked at it for a second and then said, "I don't get it." At this point, our German exchange student walked into the room, pointed at the shirt, and said, "Oh! The early bird gets the worm." Not only did she understand the shirt, but she also knew the American idiomatic expression used. In conclusion, Germans are smarter than my sister.

i love Germans. I stayed with a German family when I was sixteen for a few weeks when I was on holiday with friends and every single night they were like "ya coming down to zhe vine baar yaar?!" ive never been so drunk in all my life, and whats more, the sekt was the best ive ever tasted. Anyway, Germans. So kewl. Just like this shirt.
