It kind of reminds me of some weird pre-historic venus fly trap fossil....or soemthing. It's very strange, but at the same time, fascinating.

I think they only chose the 1st place one since it would be part of their merch.

An average score of .5 and no submissions. Just another of the Threadless shit faces who talk big and can't design for crap.

The shirts I've seen printed recently don't look all that hawttttt to me, either. I've only got reprints of old ones, and Regrowth: Katrina. But if I didn't get regrowth, then I'd be a communist. The only other interesting recently printed shirt was We Are Made of Carbon, and that one had printing malfunctions. I sure do hope Threadless isn't going to be like the simpsons, and peak in the middle of it's life.

Pins is an angry 12 year old girl who has a lot of time to grow up, so I forgive her.

I have nothing against the design. I think it's very very well done. The shading is amazing and the idea was really creative. I just don't think it's meant to be on a shirt. As a design it's great, but on a shirt, not so much.

But being a Used fan, there was a lot better ones that could have been chosen for this competition, in my oppinion.



I think Threadless is declining. The designs they've been choosing lately have been disapointing.

I haven't bought a single Threadless shirt yet, because none of them have amazed me and told me to buy them.

They need to bring back a lot of the retired ones.

You know, Threadless only prints what other designers put out there. Maybe it's not that they're picking bad designs, but that bad designs are being submitted? Ever think of that one everyone?



There have been some fantastic prints besides We are Made of Carbon lately. Robot Derby Girl, Loch Ness Imposter, Hungry Hippo and Ice Cream Mann just to name a few off the top of my head.

it all comes down to personal taste..people will like what they like

right now the big thing on threadless is the designs that look like they were done in mspaint.

Also, another big thing on Threadless is to think you're higher than Stuck with Pins because she's 14.

I hate people complaining about the DOWNFALL OF THREADLESS. So pins, there's nothing to worry about, I don't think the new designs suck, and that's just my opinion, but seriously, you're bringin me down man.

Actually, I think Threaless' comeback was printing We Are Made of Carbon. And maybe a few others.

I think that plenty of the printed designs are poor, but I'm not pathetic enough to start blogs about them or insensitive enough to name them. Honestly, grow up, kids.

Another way to grow up is to learn to take the crap you're going to get.

I got a large amount of rude critisism the first week my design was printed. And I dealt with it.

Like funkie fresh said, people are going to have different oppinions. And some people are going to be more upfront about it.

You just have to deal with it. Don't take it personally. And when the next batch of shirts come in, yours will be old news and you won't have to hear about it anymore.

Sweet Jesus man,the whole point of the site is to allow different artists and styloes and tastes to meet. Relax. If you had a design picked to be printed, I would think you would understand this more than most of us. Remove stick from poop-hole.



And bringing back the retired ones also defaerts the purpose of the site, which is to allow amateur artists and designers a chance to have their work show-cased, and to allow us, the consumers, a chance to buy unusual and unique t-shirts printed in limited batches, so as to maintain their uniqueness.



So, if you really think all the new designs picked are all that bad, there's always Urban Outiftters and Hot Topic waiting at the Mall for you. Or, just wait like the rest of s for a design you really dig. But for Bob's sake, their just 15 dollar t-shirts in the end!! Relax.

But yea, limited edition, more new shirts, less reprints, and stfu about the threadless crew I guess would be the main bulletpoint of my presentation.

i think this sub would be alot better with an actual record.

I don't get what everyone else is talking about, I think it translates very well to a shirt. I like everything about it, I just wouldn't buy it. Like the illustration though.

but then again if i had street team points to kill (like if i just won and was printed) i wouldn't mind buying this. but i wouldnt spend hard earned cash on this.

I posted this elsewhere, but other then Sven's sub I was really disappointed in the selections. I guess from a technical standpoint this design is fine, but it just feels so... derivative and boring. Which would be fine if there really wasn't anything else more interesting, but there was. I still think Pin & Mount Me should have won. Manos' Till Death Do us Part was good as well. I really think the first place desing is pretty bad too, but the Used probably chose it so I can't fault anyone. I think the Used has bad taste anyway.

I liked Manos sub also.
