its more cute than funny - infact its almost neither - the "we do what?" kinda throws it off a lil to me - but if you think in terms of parent child converstaion it makes sense but if i wanna think perverted it would be good to say How do we do it? or maybe more like we put it where? but thats just my theme and this site seems some times over run by girls. making cute shirts, cute shirts made by guys some times to impress girls, girls being spend thrifty meaning more girl shirt more revenue and the fact that the male population is dying by the years meaning in the future there will be two girls for every guy in my hopes and dreams of time collapseing of posperity and girls becoming world leaders leaving the men to become equally understanding with men meaning Soap for everyone in the future so they can all take a nice bath in hell and water....run on sentence possibly but if you just read all that your time is now my time - thou is the english magation*/who failed english sweet unintelligent irony

it's not about "innocence"... if anything, it's the opposite. people today don't bother with "courteous language" and such. why refer to something as "the birds and the bees" when you can just refer to it as "sexual intercourse" without all the people around you gasping and women crossing themselves?

Also... people who aren't from the U.S. (or whose parents weren't raised t/here) probably would have no idea what on earth that phrase referred to.

as for me... i heard the phrase from teachers, not from parents. when I was 4 my mom took out a pad of paper and drew some little tadpoles on it. she said they were called "sperm." I thought it was boring that they weren't real tadpoles.

In the Netherlands they say the 'flowers and the bees'... so I didn't get it right away, but it made me laugh once understood...

That's funny I haven't heard of that show in so long, I went through a lot of trouble to remember it. I've never had that talk, but have heard of the phrase many times.

It's common in Australia. But then, we've appropriated pretty much all the Americanisms... y'all. :)

I'm familiar with the phrase, which i learned after I had moved here from Scotland in the 6th grade. I still don't understand why it's birds and bees though... how does the talk work, do they just say that the birds and bees have sex? The birds and flowers, as someone said they say in the Netherlands, makes much more sense.

Nevertheless, a funny shirt.

I guess its the bird that tells the bees how to do it with the flowers....
