There is an abundance of old receipts on my shelf. I don't know what to do with them. Friends tend to loan me books, cd's and movies that I never get around to read, listen to or watch. However, I always appreciate their sentiment. There's always a sense of guilt on my behalf when I have to return their stuff, untouched, with no opinion to express. I may seem to be gullible at times, however do not mistake this for an act of gulliblity. I just really want to believe that I'm being told the truth at all times. At a young age, I developed a crippling fear of people in costumes. This might have stemmed from the old Softmints/Mr.Soft commerical. My sister used to tell me Ronald McDonald would get me, if I stepped foot in a McDonalds. Years later, I can thank her for my fast-food ignorance. Procrastination is something I've gotten very good at in the past few years. I like strong cups of tea, girls who wear hats, crisp winter evenings, receiving mail in the post, the smell of my cardigan after it's been washed. I dislike guinness drinkers praising their well poured pints, cinema audiences, joe public, Meteor television commercials, slow moving crowds, when people say "babes" as a term of affection, when a crow shits on my newly washed cardigan.
