They are. I bought a pair, talked to the sales person, then did some internal crying. They're one of the few kinds of shoes that actually fits me, and they're being made by starving children. I could look at it optimistically, though. As my father says, "At least they're being employed."

Nike used to be a lot worse. I'm not saying they're great but when people started getting upset about sweatshop workers Nike took a lot of heat, while lesser known labels flew under the radar. So they're not as bad as they used to, but they could, of course, improve a lot. But honestly almost company with a big selling market has got some shady practices.

I don't know why I just said all that. I don't buy Nike.

Oh heck yes! American Apparel has like, the BEST socks! I LOVE their thigh high socks xD I want to get some... I was like drawing them in all my art the week after I saw them xD My mom thought I was crazy, but whatever :P
