Tragic and terrifying. Strange that there seems to be 3 shooters. What the hell is going on?

And just days after 5 British Soldiers were killed by an Afghan Policeman. Thoughts are with the friends and families.

EDIT: Turns out that there was just the one shooter and it turns out he was not killed as officially reported hours ago.

in that article it says that the FBI Pentagon and who else are "gathering information". that always works out well for the truth.

:'(

Not only do they put their lives on the line for a pointless war but now some of their own went apeshit and killed them at home

Strange that it turns out that the gunman is not dead...

Seeing as it's not taken place in the public (civilian) domain, I wonder how much information will ever come out about this.

What odds that there will be a temptation by some 'news' outlets to portray this as a terrorist incident?

eh, i don't see why they'd hold anything back. even if you assume worst case scenario (just for the sake of argument) and he's part of some kind of sleeper cell, he was a friggin shrink. it's not like he was leading troops into battle or stealing military secrets. as far as terrorism goes, 12 dead is pretty tame. you'd have more "success" shooting up a mall.

which brings me back to something i've been wondering about for years. it would be so easy for terrorists to wreak havoc in the US. get 20 guys with guns and send them to 20 different malls. or for even more shock value, 20 schools. why hasn't this happened? i find it confusing.

I foresaw this coming the moment I learned of the gunman's name. This is such a goddamn shame considering how awfully intolerant this state is on the average to begin with. And now that is just going to be exacerbated. Ugh.
