I am probably going to run out of video games to parody eventually, but I’ll keep at it until Food With Faces is popular again. Donkey Kong was another staple of my gaming youth and I thought it would make for an interesting real life scenario. I resisted the temptation to add a plethora of references but there are enough nods to the content of the game in the design for those who know it.

Big thanks to the many people who helped me to develop it. The critique process was probably the most epic that I have ever undertaken and I think it had about 15 stages from the original doodle. I needed a cup of tea and a sit down by the time I’d finished.
